Welcome to Slink.net Ltd terms and conditions for www.slink.net and Slink.net Ltd.

The services available at http://www.slink.net are provided by Slink.net Ltd. ('Slink.net', 'we', 'us', 'site' or 'our'), company registered office: 55 Parsonage Street, Dursley, Gloucestershire, GL11 4BP.

This terms and conditions policy applies from 1st March 2001.

The purpose of www.slink.net is to provide online services and supporting administration. This service can only be directly supplied by Slink.net Ltd.

At Slink.net Ltd we pride ourselves on the quality and effectiveness of the services we provide.

Our client relationships are of the utmost importance to us and therefore, we wish to ensure that we do everything we can to develop and maintain them.

Please take a moment to read these conditions and call us if you have any queries or require further clarification. In the absence of such communication we will assume that you have accepted the conditions.

Before during or after any correspondence, course, module or other learning format is provided, users, learners, learner managers or indeed any person interacting with www.slink.net or any service provided by Slink.net Ltd will agree to abide by this terms and conditions policy.

Every person using www.slink.net will use it solely for the purpose it was intended and designed for. The purpose of www.slink.net is to provide online learning services and supporting administration. This service can only be directly supplied by Slink.net Ltd.

The site can never be used for any other purpose other than that required or directed by an Slink.net Ltd online tutor, course or for the specific purpose of Slink.net Ltd delivering learning or supporting administration.

All content generated by Slink.net Ltd is the property of Slink.net Ltd. By adding any content to any area of www.slink.net the user relinquishes ownership, unless the content is not their property or is in any way deemed to infringe copyright or offend other users in any way.

If users add content which they have not themselves generated as original to them, they will be directly held responsible for any copyright infringement.

Slink.net Ltd is not responsible in any way for any content whether original or not being added to the site by any user of www.slink.net. All www.slink.net users are bound by this policy and will therefore be held directly responsible for the content they have added.

Users cannot use any content on www.slink.net for any other purpose other than directly accessing it for their learning. Content cannot be passed on to any third parties for any form of commercial or demonstration use.

Every person who interacts with www.slink.net or any service provided by it will not use any form of language which is deemed to be insulting to any fellow user. If any language that causes offence to any user occurs it will be recorded and used to resolve the issue. If a user is found or reported using offensive language their account will be terminated immediately. If the user is enrolled on to a learning service that has been or is due to be paid for, the cost must be met in full by that person irrespective of whether they have completed the course.

If the language or actions of any user is deemed to be slanderous, racist or otherwise illegal in its content the user will be reported to the relevant official body. This site cannot be used in any form to incite hatred of any kind.

The site cannot be used for any other form of communication other that that directly required and specified by an Slink.net Ltd online tutor or course or specific service provided by Slink.net Ltd.

At no time can the site be used to store any files or documents that are not directly required or specified by Slink.net Ltd or an Slink.net online tutor.

Any user found to be using the site for inappropriate storage will have their account terminated. If any further legal action is required the user will be held directly and fully responsible.

Users can only access the site using their own User ID and password. The user is directly responsible for any activity that results from their User ID and password being used to access the site.

Users must not allow other users to access the site with their User ID and password. The users User ID and password is specifically for their use only and is not transferable.

No user can attempt a denial of service attack on the site for any reason; the site can only be accessed for the purpose for which it is designed. Any user found to be accessing the site in an unconventional or illegal manner, or with another user's User ID and password will have their account suspended immediately. If it is appropriate to do so legal action will be taken.

No user can attempt to access or gain entry to the www.slink.net site, FTP area or any area that belongs to Slink.net Ltd without permission to do so with a correctly allocated Use ID and password.

The site cannot be recorded, rendered or stored in anyway for use by a third party or used for commercial or demonstration purposes.

Classroom Based Training

Invoicing & Payment

Invoices are raised immediately following a course and will be sent to the agreed contact for payment. Payment for classroom courses is due on or within 30 days of the course booking, or as stated on the invoice.

Payment for online courses will in some cases be required before a course can be accessed.

Cancellations of Classroom Training

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.

Should it be necessary to cancel a course for any reason, the following cancellation charges will apply:
More than 30 days from the agreed date of the course No charge
Less that 30 days, more than 15 days 50%
Less than 15 days 100%

If no notification is received and there is non attendance at the course, no refund will be made.

Course bookings are made on a per seat basis. The participant names provided at the time of booking are for our own administrative use only. Clients may substitute participants at any time.

All bookings are deemed to have been placed by an appropriate approved representative of the company.

Transfers

Transfers will only be accepted in writing.

Transfers for all days of a course are available prior to the commencement of a course. No transfer fee will be charged if notification is received 10 or more working days prior to the course commencement.

Non Attendance

If a delegate fails to attend a course, course fees will not be refunded or allocated to another programme.

If the nominated delegate is unable to attend a scheduled course or part of a course, substitute participants are always welcome to attend.

General

Slink.net Limited reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur a full refund will be provided.

Slink.net Limited reserves the right to change course fees, dates, content, speakers or method of presentation at its discretion.

Where a refund is due to a participant a full refund cheque will be sent within thirty days.

If a course is overbooked, delegates who have paid prior to the course commencement will be given priority.

Privacy

Slink.net Limited does not sell or rent its member and client details to other organisations. The information collected on the enrolment form is for the purposes of processing your registration, creating and maintaining participant records, keeping you informed of upcoming events and products and assisting us in improving our service to you.
